Stride Liquid E

LIQUID-E is a Vitamin E supplement for horses containing 16,67 i.u. per millilitre with the source of Vitamin E being dl-alpha-tocopherol acetate.

OCCURRENCE:
Tocopherols are present in varying amounts in animal and plant feeds. The decisive factor here is not the total tocopherol content, but the content of active d-alpha-tocopherol (maximum vitamin E activity), which is important for animal nutrition.

High contents of tocopherol are present in young green fodder and wheat seedlings. The tocopherol fraction in cereals has only a low content of the valuable alpha-tocopherol, so that only a low vitamin E activity can be expected from cereals. This applies to an increased extent to outgrowth cereals, since the alpha-tocopherol content decreases considerably during germination. Little or no tocopherol is present in root crops and feeds from which fat has been removed, (residues from oil production, skimmed milk or whey).
